Katherine Bowders graduated magna cum laude from NH University in 2000, with a double major in Economics and Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from US College Law School in 2003, where she was an editor for the Uniform Commercial Code Digest, and worked at a local litigation firm throughout her schooling.
Katherine returned to New Rockbridge following law school where she went on to clerk for the Honorable Judge Doe in the United States District Court. Prior to joining HFH Law, she worked as a litigator for a local insurance defense firm where she tried multiple cases to verdict in the County, wrote several appellate briefs, and argued two cases before the Superior Court.
Katherine has experience handling both plaintiff and defense cases. Since joining HFH Law, she has tried cases to verdict in the county. She has sat as an arbitrator and judge pro tempore. Katherine has also developed a private ADR practice, and has been selected as a solo arbitrator on a number of personal injury cases, appointed by both plaintiff and defense attorneys several local counties. She is now vice chair of the ADR Committee of the County Bar Association. Katherine was named a Super Lawyer® Rising Star from 2014-2017.
Katherine has three sons, Gavin, Emerson and Henry, and in her free time enjoys spending time with them and attending their sporting events. She has recently been certified in Balanced Athlete Parts I and II, which involves a detailed study of the body and its muscles, and the maintenance of a high level of physical fitness.
